CHRISTMAS 2016 AT THE GARDENS ON TENTH
Enjoy the slideshow of Christmas happenings at The Gardens on Tenth — beginning with decorating for Christmas, the Tenant & Board Christmas banquet, Santa’s visit, and Santa’s secret elves!
CARIBBEAN NIGHT – August 3, 2016
August 3 was Caribbean Night at The Gardens for all Gardens on Tenth tenants and the all 55+ in the community and area! What a great time we had!
We plan to host Theme meals on a regular basis, so watch for posters around town! Open to the public!
BOARD & TENANTS BBQ – June 14, 2016
The Board, Tenants and staff of The Gardens on Tenth celebrated the one-year mark of occupancy in our new Gardens building on June 14, 2016. Delicious food and great fellowship were enjoyed as the rains held off, allowing us to enjoy it outdoors.
A BIRDS-EYE VIEW OF ROBINS – June 2016
John & Toots Sawatzky live on the 4th floor at The Gardens, and have had a really fun experience this spring! They have witnessed and taken pictures of the progression of a Robin building a nest, laying eggs, and having them hatch — all on an artificial tree on their balcony! They called it a “gift from God” that they are privileged to have such a close view of the beauty of nature! Below are pictures they are sharing with us:
MOTHERS DAY – ROYAL TEA PARTY – MARCH 10, 2016
TENANT & BOARD CHRISTMAS BANQUET – December 8, 2015
Here is a peek into the Christmas Banquet we enjoyed! To see more, visit our Facebook page.
SOUP & PIE FUNDRAISING SUPPER – OCTOBER 15, 2015
January 9, 2014 – Valley Pattern Dancers came to visit us and dance for and with us. What a beautiful thing to see music reach way into the soul and bring memories to life in these precious Gardens residents! A number of the residents even joined in the dancing for a few songs.

Christmas 2013
Christmas at The Gardens on Tenth was filled with special programs from local singing and homeschool groups, a banquet for Residents and Board members, and even a special visit from Santa on Christmas Eve! Not that we actually saw him, but the evidence was there in the morning, when stockings had been hung on each residents’ doorknob 🙂
