Seniors living in Altona can benefit from a number of community resources including C.A.R.E. (Community Assistance Resources for Elderly), which provides transportation to appointments for seniors living in the community. The C.A.R.E. Handi-Van is used to transport citizens who use a wheelchair. For more information, please call C.A.R.E. directly at 204-324-1528, or follow this link: Rhineland C.A.R.E.
The Regional Health Authority (RHA) operates the local hospital and Altona’s personal care home–Eastview Place. The Gardens on Tenth is owned and operated by local churches, but we share our Chaplain with the residents of Eastview Place–for more information on the pastoral services we offer, follow this link to Chaplaincy.
